![]() ![]() If sheathing color is yellow, wire is correctly sized and repair is not necessary. So, if one is truly concerned you must determine the color of exterior Romex sheathing. It deals with a duel duplex breaker, mine is a single breaker, this really has nothing to do with it, just establishing what my breaker is. So I also heard more today about the recall, concerning my trailer, it is not on a recall.but it may still need to be changed (just not yet established) Unless you are experienced, either turn off the main breaker in the panel first or do it with no shore power connected. Make sure the replacement breaker is OFF! Put the two wires back in their respective holes and tighten the screws. New breaker goes in the opposite way, tabs on the wire side go in first, then push the opposite side to engage the buss bar. ![]() There are tabs that hold the wire connection side in and once you pull the buss bar side out, the breaker slides a little bit towards the buss bar side and the tabs come out of their slots. The end of the breaker opposite the wire connectors pulls out, off the buss bar. Loosened the two screws holding the 14 awg wires in and carefully removed them, keeping track of which was on top and which was on bottom. I turned off the two breakers for the microwave and converter. It was hot, so I left the panel "hot" and the A/C running. Circuit breaker was on my doorstop when I got back from "camping" today. ![]()
